If you had a dollar for every service available on the market that says it can take your site to the top of the rankings in just a few weeks, you wouldn’t even need to be in web business. You’d be wealthy already. Stay away from those services and handle the SEO yourself. It’s not hard to do, especially if you just follow these SEO tips to get you started and help you to stay on track.
When setting up your site for SEO in English, make use of synonyms for your target keyword. Search engines in English are generally smart enough to recognize synonyms and will place more weight on your page if you have more instances of the keyword, while you avoid the detracting effect of keyword stuffing. Proper seo training will help with all aspects of seo and what to avoid.
When setting up your website, avoid flash. It may look pretty to have Flash, but it will not do a thing for your search engine optimization. With Flash as with AJAX and Frames, you will not be able to link to a single page. For optimum SEO results, do not use frames, and only use AJAX and Flash sparingly.
Whenever you write a new blog post or article it should immediately be posted to all of your social media accounts. There are great plug-ins for blogs which can do this for you, but you may also do it manually to ensure the right keywords get into your posts for search engine optimization reasons. Social media is one area of internet marketing that every business should be part of. Facebook is a great way to build a loyal following of buyers.
Search engines place a lot of value on links to your site on other sites, and one easy way to do this is through social media. Having social network pages on multiple sites, and link between them and your main site frequently to give yourself an edge on search engine rankings. Continue reading
Today I am working again with the question of what to do when, after the penguin update the positions of your domain have fallen extremely.
A single person is rarely to blame for such a plight. Mostly this is due to the cessation of all managers to have 1) not properly dealt with the topic of SEO and 2) wanted to achieve a lot in a very short time. SEO blogs around the world have noted for some time (for years!) on the dangers of money-keyword link text. The problem was that an aggressive approach was never really punished, except it had really been greatly exaggerated. In the SEO field must not only be up-to-date, you have to be ahead of the algorithm. Although keyword anchor texts had brought more, we have long been drained from it. That meant a lot more work for us than for others. And now? Now we have benefited, while the “aggressive” SEOs have been punished. Continue reading
Message to ICANN: Let those who want to create a TLD, simply register it with ICANN.If the TLD is not already taken, if they have the technical capability to mange the TLD, and they have the desire to market domain names on that TLD, then let them do so.It should be similar to the registering of a domain name, except on a higher level, with the added technical requirements. ICANN should be sort of an upper-registry for TLDs.It would be ludicrous for a domain name registrar like GoDaddy or eNom to ask you for a business plan, or a non-refundable application fee, before allowing you to register a domain name. It would be ridiculous for a registrar to have rounds of domain name releases of names they chose in advance.Okay, this month, GoDaddy will be allocating cheaperwebhosting.com, doggrommingmadeeasy.net, and virtualinternetwebnetwork.net. We will be taking applications and public comment during the month of February. Continue reading

But there are some things you can look for that will help you decide. How often have you seen something like: “Make a ton of cash – now!No sellingNo MLMNo stock to buyNo customers to deal withJoin our upside-down, instant-cash matrix now and get rich!It goes without saying that the above is dubious to say the least. Yet, many people fall for ads like this on a regular basis. So, the old saying “If it looks too good to be true, it probably is”, could be words of wisdom.Golden Rule: Go with your gut feeling.Let’s get down to brass tacks (sorry about that, my parents are English and they talk in a strange tongue which rubs off on me sometimes).Grade these statements:1. Anyone can make a living online!2. You don’t need capital to start a business!3. It’s much cheaper to start a business online than in the ‘real world’!4. Continue reading

The most common mistake made by people who attempt to put together their first resume is that they put in too much information. They want to describe everything that they have ever done from the moment of conception to the present. The resume ends up being too long, and nobody will read it. The most important piece of information that you should retain is that your resume, no matter how well it is put together, will only get a 15 to 30 second review by the person who does the initial screening. That person is normally someone in Human Resources whose job is to look at hundreds of resumes per day. You must create your resume in such a way that it gives all the information they need in a maximum of 30 seconds. There is information that, under most circumstances, should not be in a resume. This includes: Your age or date of birth Religious or political affiliations Reasons why you left your last job Your Social Security Number Health restrictions or physical limitations Any sentence that has “do not,” “cannot,” or “unable”Age or Date of BirthI repeat, you should not put your age or date of birth in a resume.
